First Responder Civil Rights Act

As your United States Senator I will work with other members of the US Senate in the creation of legislation that will protect the civil rights of our first responders. Our first responders often are involved in highly charged and emotional events that manipulative, or incompetent politicians manipulate for political gain. 

In high profile and emotionally charged events, our first responders will be guaranteed a change of venue. Also, rules of evidence in trials that our first responders may be defendants will not allow judges to suppress evidence that would exonerate the first responder.
